Hello friend,
I'm Theresa
So happy you found me!
I'm a mom of three human sweethearts, dog mama, a loving wife, and originally I'm from a small town in Germany.
I came to Finland over 10 years ago to live as an AuPair. In the end of the year I met the man who is now my husband and the main reason why I returned to Finland shortly after leaving back home to Germany when the AuPair year had ended. :)
I love the feeling of sand under my feet while listening to the rush of the sea, the sound of leaves rustling in the wind, and watching baby birds chirping for food on a soft spring morning. 🤍 I cannot pass a lilac bush without stopping to take in all of its enchanting scent. Nature definitely plays an integral part of my life and well-being and I find solace and purpose in its endless wonders. When I walk through forests or sit by the sea, I feel a deep sense of belonging. Almost nowhere else can I relax as well - and just be. This connection with nature is what I wish to pass to my children, too, so they recognize we all share this planet as equals, each with our own essential role to play.
On a personal level, what is extra important to me is kindness. I believe it’s one of our most powerful tools to try to make the world a better place - focusing on what connects us rather than what separates us. 🤍 Small acts of kindness ripple outward, creating positive change far beyond what we can see.
Describing myself is not an easy task. There's this subliminal worry I'd come off smug. It's really important to me though that you're getting as truthful of an image of me as possible, so that you can evaluate best whether we're a good match. I hope you're now having an idea what kind of person I am. And if there's something you'd like to know more about, send me a message and ask.
Also, I really (really) like chocolate – a lot! Now when I think about it, I believe no day goes by without having at least a couple of pieces. Happy hormones and all. :)

Purpose of photography
My passion for photography has been present ever since I can remember. My dad used to photograph us kids a lot and make slides out of the photos. On special occasions, when the whole family gathers together, we still watch them on this super old slide-projector with poor quality but reminded of all the amazing tiny and huge memories.
The true power of photography often reveals itself only years later. A casual snapshot of friends laughing together becomes precious when those gatherings grow rare. The image of a neighborhood changes meaning when buildings are replaced and landscapes transform. The photograph of a grandparent's smile becomes invaluable when they're no longer with us.
Photography has taught me to notice - to truly see the world around in all its detail, depth and emotion. The camera has become an extension of my senses, training my eyes to find beauty in ordinary moments and sceneries, encouraging me to pause and appreciate what might otherwise go unnoticed.
There's quite something magical about rediscovering photographs years or decades after they were taken. Do you know the feeling when looking at an image that you had forgotten about and suddenly you remember the whole day right in front of your eyes? Photos have the power to transport us back to moments long gone, triggering memories of sounds, smells, and feelings that had been tucked away in the corners of our minds. A photograph of a childhood home can bring back the warm feeling of sunlight through a particular window, the smell of dinner cooking, the sound of familiar footsteps on creaky floorboards. In this way, photography isn't just documentation—it's time travel. :) Our present selves are creating gifts for our future selves, preserving moments that will one day become portals to the past.
Each photograph is a love letter to that particular moment, and someday it'll be precious because it couldn't last.
and create meaningful & intimate
memories to last eternity.
